If we owe China $6 billion and our national deficit is in the trillions, how does Obama continue to borrow fr?

I was just informed that we are borrowing money from China of all places to enable us to keep spending in the midst of our current deficit, which is around $11 trillion. Meanwhile unemployment is around 12%, we are involved in 2 wars, and our commander in chief made a decision (in less than a month at that) to spend at least another trillion when he signed the stimulus bill. My question is first of all if deficit is already historic levels, why would Obama want to increase it any more prior to at least getting our deficit under control? I do realize that action is necessary to improve the economy, but if we just keep spending then the nation as a whole will be so far in debt that it won’t even help to get the economy back on track.
Also, why does China continue to allow us to borrow from it when we owe it that much money and given Obama’s infamous out-of-control spending? Isn’t it at all afraid at this point that we may not be able to pay it back?

Bush borrowed from China to fund his wars! Bush spent almost 7 trillion on two wars and gave the rich huge tax cuts. Tax breaks have never been given when there was a war. If Bush would have continued with the Clinton plan…the National Debt would have been paid completely off two years after Bush was put in as President by the Supreme Court.

The Bush tax cuts for the rich should have been stopped by Obama.

As to the stimulus plan…that creates jobs. Doing nothing like the republicans would be simply paying unemployment and letting people starve. Just like Hoover who caused the Depression. The economy is showing signs of rebounding..the stock market is showing signs of rebounding…Obama did the right thing. He needs to do more, but the republicans are stopping him…just like the republicans stopped FDR. You would think we would learn from history.
