Can my wife get approved for a car loan if not employed, but a great credit score?

My wife needs a new car, which has a high credit rating, but is a homemaker. I am a good decent money, but my credit is not very good. I know I can get approval for a car loan, but do not want to pay a higher interest rate on my credit. So is it possible for her to get a car loan without a job, but great credit? thanks.
