debt under bush
taxes went down under bush but my share of national debt rose to 17,000 and everyone I look at owes 17,000 .?
Bush may have cut my taxes but he spent me into a hole .how do you feel about your portion of the debt .Your wifes 17,000 share and your kids 17,000 share an average family is 80,000 dollars in debt .Is this good conservative policy or not and how can conservatives support this policy .
It was not the tax cuts that created the huge budget deficits, but all the additional spending, which were greater than the tax cuts.
And do not forget, the tax cuts have helped the economy grow, after the recession of 2000 and the economic impact of 9/11. Without the tax cut, the economy would have not recovered and grown like it has, and tax revenues would not be increasing as they are.
The tax cuts are intelligent economic policy.
The spending was against not only conservatism, but against the Constitution.
