raise credit scores
Is it better to pay a credit card at a time or to pay the same amount on each card to increase FICO credit score?
Try to increase my credit score. I have 4 credit cards. Should I pay a lump sum or an amount equal to each card. Each card has almost the same rates interest and annual fees.
A large part of your score is based on the ratio of revolving debt to available credit limit. Accounting Balances more than 30% hurts your score. The best way to improve your score is to pay the balances on credit cards. If interest rate is the same on all your cards, I suggest you focus on the lowest proportion in the first place, while the minimum payments on the rest. When the smallest balance is paid, move to another until are paid in full. So do not feel they can afford to pay in full each month. Since you pay the annual fee for these cards, I suggest that after paying balances, call and ask that fees be eliminated. If they refuse to close the account. There are many different credit cards no annual fee will be charged.
