My husband has just left the Navy two weeks ago. We are looking to buy a house, however, we says things mixed. We were told by the military that his VA loan has been secured and that whatever credit you can use to buy a house. Good, went to a loan officer has completed an application and were denied because most credit score is 616 and the lowest is 548. If the loan is guaranteed the VA (which is not honorable discharge is still a reservist) Why can not we get a loan? Yes please not rude comments I ask here. I just want some advice. Thanks

Unfortunately, Inc. do not lend money to banks and added the requirement of 620 for half of all loans housing. I have a couple of big lenders (that only work with approved mortgage brokers), which give a score of 620 in midstream.
