how to raise credit scores quickly

Credit scores?

my husband and i need a quick fix to raise our credit scores…. and paying them off is not an option… does anyone know how raise our credit scores quickly? thanks
we have low 500′s due to late payment i would asume….. we where trying to buy a home and i dont want to have to wait a year to do so…..i guess just making large payments would be first. who knows…

This would really depend on a number of things. What is your credit score now, and what is quickly? Check your credit report and look for erroneous or incorrect entries and dispute them with the original creditor and the credit reporting agency. Some factors that go into your credit score you have very little control over. Such as length of history. If you have late payments which are bringing your score down you can also dispute them. This process will probably take a couple of months even themselves. Sometimes if you are in the middle of purchasing a house, and there are credit blemishes, you can make a correction and get the credit reporting agency to recalculate your score. You never did say why you needed your score raised quickly or what the current credit report looks like.
