The Best Question Ever…Is it?

In the book “The Best Question Ever” the Author Andy Stanley explains that people do not plan to mess up their lives, bury themselves in debt, marry the wrong person, or fail in business; instead, these mistakes are a lack of necessary precaution. They don’t plan to not fail.

He assures his reader in the introduction that while this question may not be the most important question of one’s life, it is most certainly the best question.

He argues that if one applies this question to all of those most important decisions, then success is almost assured.

Therefore, in Stanley’s opinion, the best question ever is:

WHAT IS THE WISE THING TO DO?

Now it’s up to you!
What do you think about it?

Wisdom comes with learning from life. One can not learn from life without going through some of the down falls/making some mistakes. Asking what is the wise thing to do assumes that one has already gone through enough lessons to know what the wise option is.

One could ask what would an elder do if they were in your position. Still that doesn’t give the best answer because each persons experiences are unique so the wise option for one may be foolish for another.

It may be one of the few questions that can apply to every situation and in that it is a pretty good question. But not the best.
