Plans for debt management?

I'm looking to join one of these plans that help with credit card debt. I know I can damage your credit, but not really a problem now. Does anyone have any information about them, which is good to go with? I heard some of them are in reality scams. I heard the announcement of Credex America One and the attention of television. Ideas?

I prefer you look at Dave Ramsey. This is not a SPAM add actually I use his advice. Daveramsey.com Check. And / or read his book on the seven steps to get out of debt. It makes no sense to pay a program to withdraw money from your account for do what you can do. In essence, with a monthly budget, plan your spending each month. And the list of the smaller bills bigger, and begin by paying much as I can to the smallest. Then take the money used to pay for smaller, adding that the normal performance of Act 2. Stop buying credit cards, and live frugally to get out of debt.
