Do video rentals affect my credit card if I’m late on due dates?

If you are late in returning what you rented then it won’t have anything to do with your credit.

If you fail to return what you rented or fail to pay the fee, they may turn it over to collections. If that happens then the collector will probably put it on your credit reports at some point.

If it is in their membership rules that they can charge late fees on the card then they may do that. The effect it would have on your card is that you would have a balance that you would have to pay.
