credit score short sale

It is a short sale in a mobile home hurt my credit score?
I live in Michigan and I think a short sale in our mobile home. I heard a lawyer as the sale of mobile homes are different than single family homes and do not affect your credit score one way or another. I also hear that my FIL Two types of short sales, in which everyone is satisfied and the difference is "forgiven" and that always has to make a difference. The company that we will sell through Our house is only the first type so that owe nothing to the final. Are the two types of short sales affect credit differently? And a short sale in a mobile home hurt my credit score? Thanks in advance.
Hello, a short sale will not hurt your credit beyond what already is. If you're too late, your credit is probably already in the gutter, for late payment (more than 30 days late) on mortgages and car notes have been very negative impact on your credit. Short selling is a wonderful alternative to the exclusion! I certainly do not exclude that it will be very detrimental to their credit. A short distance it comes to negotiating with the bank to accept an amount less than what you need to make it easier to sell your property. ie if you has more of what people are willing to pay, then you will obviously be able to sell and that's definitely going to be excluded! The banks, in essence, loses more money on a foreclosure and short sale. Moreover, a short sale allows them to dispose of the property. Excluding the bank is stuck with the property and then must go through the horrible task of trying to get it sold. Banks are not property "ownership" of companies. Good luck to you!
