What all will banks consider when I fill out a loan application for a new car?

I’m trying to raise my credit score.I’ve been at the same job for 15 years.

I’d like to tell you that the 15 years on the job meant something but normally all the banks look at anymore is your credit score. You either qualify on score or you don’t. If you go through a local bank or credit union they will still consider other factors including job time, equity position in the deal, home ownership, etc.

In the sub-prime market (for credit challenged people) the 15 years on the job will make a difference but you are looking at paying a much higher rate.
