What’s the difference between FICO score and the credit score from the 3 major credit bureaus?

I’m trying to find out where I stand (Transunion 742) compare to the max score possible. But as I research deeper I’m getting mixed responses because some people refers to FICO while others refers to Transunion/Experian/Equifax. So what I would like to know is: What is the max FICO score? What is the max Transunion/Experian/Equifax score? And at which score range (under both systems) is considered excellent credit? Thank you for your help.

FICO scores from 300 to 850 with anything that calculates to below 300 defaulting to a 0.

Equifax uses FICO Transunion has their own version and Experian uses the Vantage system that scores from 501 to 990.

Because all lenders do not report to all credit bureaus and because there are so many different scoring systems it gets confusing.

Anything above a 740 FICO is considered elite and for Vantage anything above a 901 is considered A credit.
