Growth rate Capital One credit card! What to do?

When I signed my credit card Capital I understand signed with my pace of 8.9% set …. Now they have increased my rate of 13.9% When I called to complain once I realized that it was said that a large number of clients, but as I am a "Preferred Customer" I download a whole meager 1% to 12.9. Now, my question is … how the hell are they shoot it? Is not this the definition of the word sets, means it can not be moved or changed? It seems very shadow and possibly illegal in parts …. Now the question for me, with $ 4700 outstanding on my card … I leave it open, or cancel, to "stick to them?" I understand that remove cards hurts your FICO score …. any help would be appreciated.

Negotiate or change the card and transfer the balance. You can cancel to get your message but you still have to be repaid by the Convention of credit. As you carry a balance on a credit card, you can screw. – Adam>
