credit score companies

Why do the credit scoring companies always post different scores for the same person?
The three main companies never have the same score and one of them in particular, is always several points (approximately 20) lower than the other two. Serious, polite, constructive answers only please.
It’s a combination of things.
First all three have their own way of calculating scores, add to that the fact that not all lenders report to all three bureaus and that makes up for the difference in scores.
Now to make this even more confusing, there are also 3 different types of credit bureaus, there is the “Standard” this is the one that you see on the web and that credit card companies look at. Then there is the “Auto enhanced” this is the one that dealers and auto lenders look at. Then there is the “Factual” which is the one that mortgage companies look at. So 1 person can actually have 9 credit scores.
