bad credit debit cards

Can you use prepaid credit cards to check into nicer hotels?

I’m going to do some travelling but I don’t have any credit cards (bad credit). If I buy a prepaid c.card and put like $1000 on it, would a hotel accept that or what about a debit card? I’m 35 and have a valid drivers license so there is no other reason why I couldn’t get a room.

Yes 99% will – though most will take the money for the room in advance and will ask to see a passport (or DL if in home country) in case you run a huge tab on the room.
